Police Officer Involved In Central PA Crash (Developing) A police officer was involved in a crash that is now being investigated by Pennsylvania state police. “A Swatara Township police officer was involved in a reportable accident at the intersection of 42nd and Derry Street,” at 7:54 a.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 27, according to a release by the department. The crash occurred around 8 a.m. while the school buses were parked along McCaskey Avenue and East Walnut Street, according to CBS 21 and WGAL News 8. The box truck driver appeared "dazed" and was hospitalized, a witness told WGAL.
