PA Hospital Welcomes First Baby Of 2024 It's a girl! Dana Nieves gave birth to St. Mary Medical Center's first baby of the year, the hospital announced on Tuesday, Jan. 2.  Drew, a baby girl, was delivered around 2:10 a.m. on New Year's Day, according to staff.  Nieves is also, coincidentally, an employee at the Langhorne hospital.  The mother and daughter were given a welcome basket and a baby seat on behalf of the Labor and Delivery Department, St. Mary's added.

Troopers Identify Remains Found In Schuylkill County The human remains discovered off a residential road in St. Clair Borough last spring belonged to a 60-year-old woman, according to state police.  Karen Rosemarie Rohrbach was identified after her DNA was submitted to PSP's Forensic Division, troopers said in a release Tuesday, Jan. 2.  Her cause of death was ruled natural causes and authorities said foul play is not suspected.  Rohrbach's remains were located near Fernwood Avenue last March 26, according to the release.

Officials Seek Relatives Of Late Allentown Man Lehigh County officials are asking for the public's help in finding a late Allentown man's loved ones.  Jerry Woodrow, 64, was pronounced dead on the 100 block of North 7th Street on Sunday morning, Dec. 31, according to the Coroner's Office.  His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, but there are no suspicious circumstances, said Coroner Daniel A. Coroner IDs Infant, Woman Killed In Allentown Shooting Officials have named the woman and baby who were fatally shot in an Allentown home last Friday, Dec. 29.  They were 44-year-old Ada Ortiz and her 1-year-old grandson Sebastian Serrano, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  Officials said Ortiz died from multiple gunshot wounds while Serrano's autopsy was still ongoing as of midday Tuesday, Jan. 2. Wanted: Bensalem Man Who Used Facebook To Solicit Sex From Child, Police Say A man who used Facebook to try and get nudes and met for sex acts with a child is sought by Lower Southampton police. Lawrence W.
