Lockdown: Philly Elementary School On High Alert After Gun Found In Bathroom An elementary school in Philadelphia is locked down by order of city police after a firearm was discovered in a student bathroom late Monday morning, authorities told Daily Voice.  The gun was found in a boy's bathroom on the first floor at EW Rhodes Elementary School, 2900 W. Clearfield Street, police wrote in a release. Investigators also found evidence that the firearm might have been "discharged," they added.  No injuries have been reported from the school, PPD noted. The gun is in police possession and officers remain on the scene, the department said.
