Lockdown: Philly Elementary School On High Alert After Gun Found In Bathroom An elementary school in Philadelphia is locked down by order of city police after a firearm was discovered in a student bathroom late Monday morning, authorities told Daily Voice. The gun was found in a boy's bathroom on the first floor at EW Rhodes Elementary School, 2900 W. Clearfield Street, police wrote in a release. Investigators also found evidence that the firearm might have been "discharged," they added. No injuries have been reported from the school, PPD noted.
