Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

One car purportedly was on its roof and another on its side, reports said.  An unconfirmed report said that a motorist was ejected and that CPR was in progress. Serious Crash Injures Motorist On Garden State Parkway: Njsp A driver was seriously injured after his car crashed and overturned along the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash was reported at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 in the south local lanes at milepost 112.6 in Middletown Township, said Sgt. Alejandro Goez, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. A sedan went off the road to the right and overturned, Goez said. The driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, he said.
