Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Erratic Driver Kills Woman In Cape May County: Police A 63-year-old woman was struck and killed by an erratic driver in Cape May, authorities said. The crash occurred at 4:14 p.m. on Sunday, May 15. The woman was walking near the Route 109 Bridge (Lafayette Street when a vehicle struck her and then a telephone pole and two vehicles before becoming disabled, Cape May police said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name had not been released.

Stolen Car Crashes On Jersey Shore, 2 Suspects Arrested, 2 At-Large A stolen car carrying four suspects crashed on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. Holmdel police said the suspects fled on foot after the crash early Friday, May 13 at Everett Road and Route 520.  Police caught two of the suspects, they said. Two others remained at large.
