Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

On Wednesday, March 30,  suspects in a silver Audi — believed to be stolen out of Clifton — attempted to steal a vehicle on Todd Road, Toms RIver police said. The vehicle’s owner was inside the car at the time and startled the suspect who then fled the area, police said. Pickup Truck Driver Killed In South Jersey Crash: State Police A 65-year-old motorist from Burlington County was killed when he collided with an SUV, authorities said. Mark G. Spang, of Medford, was killed in the crash involving his Chevy Silverado, a New Jersey State Police spokeswoman said. Jacob B. Dischert, 25, who was operating a Jeep Grand Cherokee, was treated for minor injuries, Trooper Brandi Slota said.
