Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Shoplifting Tools, Meth Recovered During Arrest By Brick PD A 32-year-old man from Central Jersey was found sleeping in his car and arrested on multiple drug and shoplifting charges, authorities said. At about 11 p.m. on Thursday, Brick police were conducting surveillance at 715 Route 70 when they observed a man sleeping inside a vehicle in the parking lot, a police department spokeswoman said. Police identified the man as Christian Vatovec of Manalapan. Crash With Injuries Reported On NJ Turnpike In Central Jersey: Njsp A crash with multiple injuries occurred in Central Jersey, authorities said.  The crash was reported at 9:29 a.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound near mile-marker 74.8 in South Brunswick Township, according to a New Jersey State Police spokeswoman said.  An initial investigation reveals a Toyota was traveling southbound when it was struck in the rear bumper by another vehicle, Trooper Brandi Slota said. The shooting occurred Tuesday morning at 1211 N Delaware St. in Paulsboro, according to initial reports. When the Bridgeton school year began in September, subs were making just $90, the outlet said. Then, the daily pay rate for subs increased to $135 a day.
