Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

One Killed, One Seriously Injured In Single-Engine Plane Crash In Hudson Valley One man was killed and another seriously injured in a single-engine plane crash in the area. It happened on Friday, June 5 at approximately 7:10 p.m. at the Wurtsboro–Sullivan County Airport in the town of Mamakating.  The two occupants of the single-engine challenger plane were both licensed pilots, State Police said.  Eddy R. Santana, 41, of Wurtsboro was found dead at the scene, according to police. IDs Released For Driver Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured In Long Island Crash The identities have been released for the driver killed and the passenger seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. The crash took place in Nassau County around 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, on the Wantagh Parkway near Exit W6 in the Town of Hempstead.
