Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Woman Faces DWI Charge After Crash Injures 10-Year-Old Boy A 23-year-old Long Island woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash that seriously injured a 10-year-old boy. It happened just before 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 in Holbrook, Suffolk County Police said. Officer Injured After Being Struck By SUV On Route 6 An officer directing traffic was rushed to the hospital after being struck by SUV on a busy stretch of Route 6. The incident happened around 7:38 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Mahopac. Due to the injuries and the mechanism of injury, the Putnam County sheriff's deputy was transported to Danbury Hospital by the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department’s Ambulance where it was determined that the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Drunk Driver Who Failed To Stay In Lane Had Child In Pickup Truck, Police Say A Long Island man was driving drunk with a child in his pickup truck when he was pulled over for failing to stay in his lane, police say. Wesley Charles 40, of Bay Shore, was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup eastbound on Sunrise Highway near Exit 55 in North Patchogue when a Highway Patrol officer observed the vehicle failing to maintain a lane and initiated a traffic stop at approximately 9:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, Suffolk County Police said. Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car On Long Island A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car overnight on Long Island. It happened at around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 in Brentwood, according to Suffolk County Police. Alejo Surpicio, 51, of Brentwood, was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry southbound on Washington Avenue, south of Heyward Street, when his vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was attempting to cross the avenue from west to east. Ex-Reality TV Host Sentenced For Molesting Daughter's 10-Year-Old Soccer Teammate In His Home A former reality TV show host who was convicted of molesting a 10-year-old girl during a sleepover at his Connecticut house has been sentenced. Christopher Dionne hosted the pilot episode of home improvement network HGTV's “Family Flip" and appeared in the A&E show “House Rescue” in California when police began the investigation. Dionne was found guilty of risk of injury to a minor and sexual assault in the New London, Connecticut Judicial District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 16.for the Nov. 26, 2017 abuse.
