100K+ Without Power Across Pennsylvania Hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians are without power due to a winter storm. The number of PPL customers without power has continued to rise as a wintry mix continues to fall as of 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Over 94,000 PPL customers in Central Pennsylvania are without power. The majority of the outages are in Dauphin, Schuylkill, and Lebanon counties, according to PPL's map. Teen Admits Sharing Child Porn On Discord: Manheim Twp. Police In Affidavit An 18-year-old man is accused of both uploading and downloading child pornography on the chatting app/website Discord, Manheim Township police announced on Feb. 9. Malik Jaden Sams of the 400 block of Delp Road in Lancaster began being investigated after authorities received multiple Cyper Tipline reports of an IP address in the home where he lived and the account "ZackDaRat#7143" which he later admitted to using, according to the affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice. Two Officers Hospitalized After Crash Heading To Call: Philadelphia Police Two Philadelphia officers were struck by a private vehicle on their way to a call, police announced on Monday night. The patrol vehicle was struck at the intersection of 16th Street and Norris Street in the 22nd District at approximately 8:29 p.m. on Feb. 12, the police explained in a release about an hour later. The two officers inside were taken to Temple Hospital by Medic 13. They suffered minor injuries and "are expected to be treated and released," the police said. No one else suffered any injuries.

Lititz Mom, Nurse Takes Clonazepam, Amphetamine Before Head-On Crash With Son In Car: Affidavit A 43-year-old mom of two allegedly caused a head-on crash into a tree by driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police detailed in a release on Thursday, Feb. 9. Kristen Leigh Gantz of Lititz crashed a black Honda Pilot into a tree along East Oregon Road, Manheim Township around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 12, according to Officer William R. PA 911 Operator, Kaitlynn Beatty, 20, Killed In Crash: State Police A three-vehicle crash has left a 911 operator dead, authorities explained in the days following her sudden passing. Kaitlynn Elizabeth Beatty, 20 of Irwin, was killed in a three-vehicle crash along Glades Pike/Route 31, west of Tree Army Road in Jefferson Township on Jan. 30, as detailed in the Pennsylvania State Police report.
