Authorities Probe Bomb Threat At Newark High School Police and fire departments rushed to a high school in Newark Tuesday morning, where a bomb threat was allegedly called in, authorities said. The threat was made at Science Park High School (260 Norfolk St.) just after 11 a.m., a Newark Dept. of Public Safety spokesperson told Daily Voice. Essex County canine detection units were also called to the scene. No explosives were located, and no injuries had been reported, authorities said. The incident remained under investigation.

Driver Airlifted Following Route 80 Tractor-Trailer Crash, State Police Say A tractor-trailer driver was airlifted with serious injuries following a Monday night crash on Route 80, state police confirmed. The driver was thrown from the trailer in the westbound lanes near milepost 11.4 in Hope just before 12:35 a.m., NJSP Trooper Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. Man Airlifted After Falling From Ladder In Lambertville [Developing] A man was airlifted after falling off of a ladder in Lambertville Monday evening, according to initial and developing reports. The man fell from a ladder on Bridge Street around 4:40 p.m., according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The man, 47, was airlifted to a local hospital with a landing zone in an open field, the developing report says. Lambertville Police did not immediately respond to Daily Voice’s request for details. Man Airlifted After Getting Trapped Under Tree In Sussex County: State Police A man was airlifted to a local hospital after getting trapped under a tree in Sussex County Monday afternoon, state police confirmed. The victim became trapped at a home on Beaver Run Road in Wantage just before 2:35 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. The victim, alert and conscious, was being airlifted via Atlantic Air 3 to a local hospital as a precautionary measure, Goez said.

Car Struck By Train In Hunterdon County: State Police [Photos] A car was struck by a train in Hunterdon County Sunday evening, state police confirmed. The crash occurred on Perryville Road in Union Township just after 4:35 p.m., Tpr. Brandi Slota told Daily Voice. No injuries were reported to the driver or train conductor, Slota said.
