'Tragic:' Beloved Bangor HS Senior Ashton Dunbar Dies Days Before 18th Birthday Beloved Bangor High School senior Ashton D. Dunbar died suddenly on Oct. 12 — just 10 days before his 18th birthday. Born in Easton, Dunbar was known for his love of football, his obituary says. Dunbar was also remembered for the many close friendships he had fostered over the years. Several Homes Burglarized In Warren County, Police Say Police in Warren County are investigating a series of recent home burglaries. Several homes were burglarized in the Greenwich Chase development in Greenwich Township on Saturday, Oct. 9, local police said. A suspect — pictured above — was caught on surveillance footage carrying a crossbody bag, police added. Suspect Fires Rounds From BB Gun Into Hellertown Playground Police are investigating a drive-by BB gun shooting that targeted a Hellertown playground Friday afternoon. The unidentified suspect fired four rounds from a BB gun toward Morris J. Dimmick Park Playground just after 1:25 p.m., Hellertown Police said. The suspect was traveling in a dark blue four-door Honda Civic from the mid-2000s, police said. No one was injured during the shooting, authorities said. PA Man Dies Of Suicide After Shooting Father’s Fianceé: Report A 35-year-old Pennsylvania man shot and critically injured a woman reports say was his father’s fianceé before fatally turning the weapon on himself early Monday morning. Morris County Motorcyclist Ejected, Killed In Route 80 Crash A Morris County motorcyclist was ejected and killed in a crash on Route 80 over the weekend, state police said. Franklin Johnson, 43, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound in Montville Township when he veered off the left side of the highway, hit a guardrail and was thrown from the bike near milepost 47.8 just before 3:40 a.m. Saturday, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. Johnson, of Flanders, was pronounced dead at the scene, Peele said. The crash remains under investigation.

Alert Issued For Missing Warren County Man, 23 Police are seeking the public’s help locating a missing Warren County man. Daniel Cannone, 23, was last seen on a RING camera on Oct. 16, Blairstown Township police said. Cannone was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was carrying a backpack, though specific colors cannot be determined due to the poor image quality.
