Support is surging for the family of beloved Warren County mother and wife Lisa Moyer, who died from serious head trauma after an unexpected fall. The man pictured above was caught on surveillance footage taking a handgun from its unsecured case in a camper on the 400 block of Wilson Avenue around 12:15 p.m. on June 6, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. A Sussex County farm is desperately seeking answers on social media after more than a dozen ducks were stolen from the property over the weekend. Award-winning musician and photographer Jack Allen Williams died at his Warren County home on June 14 at the age of 32. Born in Raritan Township, Williams grew up in High Bridge before spending time in Annandale and settling in Washington, his obituary says. Williams graduated from Voorhees High School in Glen Gardner and went on to earn the Bernie Worrell award for musical excellence at Raritan Valley Community College, where he graduated with highest honors, his memorial says. A local cyclist is looking to track down the driver of a vehicle that he says “deliberately” sideswiped his group of riders and sent two victims to the hospital. Alan Kirby was cycling east on Newburg Road in Palmer Township when a vehicle sideswiped his group of about a dozen riders on the Route 33 overpass around 8:50 a.m. Saturday, he wrote in a Facebook post that has been shared almost 900 times. A pedestrian was struck and killed in Gloucester County Monday afternoon, according to initial reports. The victim was hit near 3985 Tuckahoe Rd. in Franklin shortly after 12:20 p.m., according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said. A tractor-trailer driver was found with 121 pounds of marijuana and THC products worth more than $850,000 during a safety inspection on Route 78 in Warren County, state police said. Storm Zhu, 37, was stopped at the truck weigh station in Greenwich Township for a safety inspection while driving the trailer on Route 78 eastbound on June 14, state police said. Authorities are seeking the public's help locating a man accused of firing a gun at a vehicle in Bethlehem. Dassan Othaniel Pickard, pictured above, is accused of firing a gun several times at an unoccupied vehicle on the 1400 block of Elliott Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Friday, police said in a release. Traffic Alert: Overturned Trailer Shuts Main Road In Sussex County
A trailer overturned Monday morning and shut down a main road in Sussex County, authorities said. The trailer overturned in the area of Woodport and Blue Heron Road south in Sparta, local police said in a Facebook post published just after 9:15 a.m. The portion of the road remained closed until further notice.
