SWAT Called To Armed Stand-Off In Philadelphia: Police A man's father told police he was inside a Philadelphia home with a firearm, according to a release by city police. The police were called to the reported barricaded in the 1200 block of South Millick Street, 18th District, at 7:22 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24. When they arrived the man's father shared that his son was inside and was armed, the police explained in the release. Man ID'd After House Fire, Carbon Monoxide: Northampton County Coroner A 42-year-old man has been identified following a house fire, authorities announced late on Wednesday. Al-Malik Hakam Walker of the 900 block of Glendon Ave, Easton was found dead in his home following the fire on Tuesday, Aug. 22, the Northampton County Coroner’s Office detailed in a release. His "cause of death was Carbon Monoxide Toxicity and Smoke Inhalation, and the manner of death is pending the completion of the fire investigation," Coroner Zachary R. Lysek said. PA Dad Electrocuted While On The Job, Authorities Say A beloved Pennsylvania dad died after striking an active electrical line while working, authorities say. Marty Mundis, 49, of the 800 block of West Broadway, York Township, was killed while on a job site in 12000 block of Mt Olivet Road in North Hopewell Township on Monday, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office. Woman Found Dead After House Fire: York County Coroner (Update) A 59-year-old woman died in a house fire in York on Wednesday, authorities say. The fire broke out at a home in the 4500 block of Hikey Street near Regal and Amy avenues in Dover Township, according to emergency dispatchers. Emergency dispatch was alerted to the fire at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
