Three Men Busted After Failed Armed Robbery Attempt In Nassau County Three men are facing charges on Long Island after allegedly attempting to rob a man at knifepoint and fleeing from investigators, police said. New Sobriety Checkpoint Scheduled In Massachusetts There will be a new sobriety checkpoint set up in Massachusetts by state police to curtail impaired driving and educate the public about its dangers. Suspect Nabbed In Sex Assault Case, CT State Police Say A 22-year-old man in Connecticut is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a teen, State Police announced. Duo Indicted For Murder Of 20-Year-Old Woman in Westchester Two men have been charged with murder for their roles in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old woman in Westchester. Mount Vernon resident Aaliyah Waiters was shot and killed on Saturday, Sept. 25 after she was struck in the head by a bullet at approximately 2:30 a.m. on South Third Street in the city. Two Teens On Long Island Busted With Defaced Pistol During Stop, Police Say A routine traffic stop of a BMW SUV led to the arrest of two teenagers on weapons charges after they were busted with a defaced pistol, police said.
