Police ID Taxi Driver Fatally Shot In Westchester Police have identified the 62-year-old man who was shot and died after being found injured in a Westchester parking lot. Shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, a New Rochelle police officer on patrol found a man, later identified as city resident Andres Valenzuela, on the ground in the parking lot of Juliano’s Caterer’s on Main Street with two apparent gunshot wounds. Covid-19: FDA Advisory Panel Votes To Recommend Moderna Booster For Certain Groups Of People A US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel has endorsed emergency authorization for Moderna’s half-dose COVID-19 vaccine booster shot for certain groups of people. The latest guidance from the feds calls for Moderna booster shots to be administered at least six months following the completion of the two-dose vaccination process for certain groups. Currently, the booster is recommended for people 65 and older and Americans between the ages of 18 and 64 who are immunocompromised and at a greater occupational risk of exposure or severe side effects from the virus. Massachusetts Youth Hockey Referee Shortage Linked To Unruly Behavior By Parents Abusive coaches, parents, and players have led to a severe referee shortage in Massachusetts as officials have left en masse both before and in the early portion of the season. Two Men Injured In Drive-By Long Island Shooting Two men were hospitalized after being struck during a drive-by shooter on Long Island, police said.
