He wrote sports for The Ithacan and The Ithaca Journal before taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest, where he served as the sports editor at the Shoshone News-Press until heading back east to work with Daily Voice.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 in North Hills, near exit 36 westbound. There were three occupants in a red 2020 Hyundai Elantra that overturned, Nassau County Police said. Two of whom were transported by separate vehicles to a nearby hospital. Long Island native Dawer Nadi, age 63, was sentenced to a term of between 4 and ⅓ to 10 years in prison following his conviction in Suffolk County Supreme Court to multiple charges. Specifically, Nadi was convicted by a jury of: Third-degree grand larceny; Unauthorized practice of a profession; Eight counts of offering a false instrument for filing.
