The city has been dealing with a rat surge on 15th Street, after dozens were spotted near an exposed trash area by 1500 Garden St, Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher said. 'Edgewater Needed Something A Little Different': New Tapas Restaurant Opens Oggi Domani, a Hoboken native, has become quite the North Jersey restauranteur. Domani, who owns three other restaurants in the area, recently opened Bonita by the River, a restaurant specializing in Spanish European cuisine and tapas at 190 River Road in Edgewater. On Monday, July 10, a man reported to police that when he returned to his home on Park Street, he discovered his home had been burglarized, with $15,000 worth of items taken, officers said.  The burglar entered the home by force through a basement bathroom window, police said. NJ Police Officer Fighting Cancer Won't Do It Alone Mark Steinberg, recently sworn in as a police officer in Verona, is in for the fight of his life. And the community is rallying to his side. Steinberg, 23, was recently was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer. A fundraiser has been created by the Verona PBA to assist him and his family with any expenses.
