Man Found Dead In FDR Park In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 55-year-old man from Long Island was found dead Thursday morning in FDR Park in Yorktown. New York State Parks Police located the Amityville man after his parents reported him missing, according to Randy Simmons, the public information officer for the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
