The Schoolhouse Theater will be running the U.S. premiere of "And Give Us The Shadows" by popular Swedish playwright Lars Noren. The play opens Thursday and runs through Nov. 10. Bedford Police Respond To Barricade Situation BEDFORD, N.Y.-- A person who barricaded himself in a room on McClain Street on Friday is now in the custody of the Bedford Police and is being transported to Northern Westchester Hospital, police said.  Police originally responded to the call at 8:57 a.m. Another person in the residence called police and said they were concerned about a person living there. The person subsequently barricaded himself in the room. "Our main concern is that individual's safety and the safety of the officer and everyone in the area," said Lt. Jeffrey Dickan of the Bedford Police Department.

Tarrytown Woman Died Of Natural Causes TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The Westchester Medical Examiner's office reported Thursday that Karen Brown of Tarrytown, who was found by police after a report of a gas leak brought emergency personnel to her home on Wednesday, Oct. 9, died of natural causes. According to the Westchester County Medical Examiner, Brown, 45, suffered a  “spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage,” or stroke, which caused her death.
