Former NHL Player Leapt To His Death From Balcony At Miami Resort, Police Say (Update) The cause of death for former Pittsburgh Penguins player Konstantin Koltsov has been ruled suicide, police in Miami tell Daily Voice. Koltsov, who played for the Penguins from 2002 to 2006, is believed to have leapt to his death from a balcony of a resort in Miami, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department said. He was 42 years old. Homeless Man Caught Stealing From Nike, New Balance, More Stores In Leesburg: Cops A 34-year-old homeless man was arrested for shoplifting at multiple stores across Leesburg, police said. Clarence Wiggins swiped merchandise from New Balance, Virginia ABC stores, 7-Eleven, and Nike, police said. On March 15, he led a foot pursuit after swiping a pair of shoes from the New Balance store at the Leesburg Premium Outlets, local police said.  Wiggins was ultimately arrested and charged with Preventing Law Enforcement from Making an Arrest and larceny.

Jamall Mathis, 29, is accused of exposing himself on Jan. 11 in the Spencer's store at the Fair Oaks Mall, and at the Five Below in the Springfield Mall on Oct. 12, 2023, Fairfax County police said. Marta Villanueva Benitez, of Woodbridge, had gotten into an argument with an 11-year-old girl, a family member, Friday afternoon, March 15 when she struck the girl with a metal broom multiple times, county police said. The girl reported the injuries the following day to school personnel who contacted the police. Minor injuries were reported.  Villanueva Benitez was charged with felony child abuse.
