Cortlandt Creates Fund Offsetting Losses From Indian Point Closure CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- The Town of Cortlandt wants to be prepared for when Indian Point in Buchanan closes its doors. Supervisor Linda Puglisi announced the town has developed a fund, starting this year, to offset the town's loss of $900,000 in revenue when Indian Point shuts down in 2020 and 2021. Sister Mary Stolz, 94, Maryknoll OSSINING, N.Y. -- Sister Mary Teresa Stolz, 94,  died on April 7 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center. She had been a Maryknoll Sister for 63 years. Stolz was born on February 1, 1923, in Elyria, OH to Mary B. (Dietz) and William J. Stolz. She had one brother, Rev. Joseph Stolz and four sisters, Florence, Anne, Cecilia and Margaret. Her parents and siblings have all predeceased her. Andrew Eidelson was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the 4th degree, a Class E felony after an Evergreen Street resident reported his wallet, containing debit cards and cash, was missing, police said.
