A moose described as being 7-feet and weighing 800 to 900 pounds was spotted at the Foxhill Townhouse on Hawkes Avenue Friday morning by two residents who contacted Daily Voice. The child was taken to a nearby hospital, police said. The Coast Guard has launched an investigation after a tugboat submerged in the Hudson River near the Tappan Zee Bridge Thursday afternoon. The Potomac tugboat was tied to a construction barge and hit a cable under the Tappan Zee Bridge shortly after noon. Both people aboard the boat escaped safely by the time emergency responders arrived.
