113-Year-Old Woman Celebrates Birthday In Ossining OSSINING, N.Y. -- Kuo-Ying Feng has seen it all -- and then some. The Ossining resident celebrated her 113th birthday at Victoria Home on North Malcom Street in Ossining. Feng was born on May 12, 1902 in Shanghai. The world's oldest person is 115-year-old Jeralean Talley of Michigan, according to TIME Magazine. Feng was surrounded by three of her sons at the birthday party which featured a proclamation from Assemblywoman Sandy Galef and a cake.  Raised in China, Feng lived through World War II and the Chinese Civil War. As a precaution, students at Anne M. Dorner Middle School and Claremont Elementary School are holding indoor recess Tuesday. Funeral Will Be Held For Ossining Men Killed In Hastings Explosion OSSINING, N.Y. -- Funeral services are being held Monday in Ossining for the two Ossining residents killed in the Hastings explosion Thursday. Sergundo Mora, 50 and Luis Jacho, 52, will be laid to rest at St. Ann's Church at 6 p.m. at 25 Eastern Ave. Jacho and Segundo, 50 were attempting to remove an underground tank from the backyard of a multifamily home when the blast occurred at 65 Hillside Ave., a block away from Hastings High School. Bear Is Chased Off Alpaca Farm By Police In Yorktown Heights YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY. -- A bear was seen and chased by police on Baptist Church Road in Yorktown, a month after a bear was spotted at Peter Pratt's Inn. Police were notified on Wednesday and said there was a bear on his alpaca farm, according to Officer Beth Sherwood of the Yorktown Police. Mother Of Croton Child Who Died Upgraded To Fair Condition CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The mother of 6-year-old Lacey Carr, who was found unconscious along with her daughter in their Croton-On-Hudson home in April, has been upgraded to fair condition at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow. Prep Work For Spectra Pipeline In Montrose Gets Approval From Ferc MONTROSE, N.Y. -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has granted Spectra Energy permission to start prep work in Montrose on its Algonquin Pipeline project. In a letter sent Tuesday, FERC said it granted an April 21 request to construct, modify and/or use the construction work areas for the project. One of the work areas is the Hudson East Yard in Montrose. The expansion of the Spectra Algonquin pipeline recently received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.  The project involves replacing about 20.1 miles of natural gas pipeline that is 26 inches in diameter…
