Erin Bloom will be running in the 14th annual Boston Half Marathon, presented by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund on Oct. 12. More than 570 teams participate in the race, raising at least $750 to support adult and pediatric cancer care and patient research at Dana-Farber. Peekskill Police Identify Man Who Hung Himself At Parking Garage PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The man who hung himself at a parking garage in Peekskill Monday was a veteran who lived at the Montrose VA Medical Center. Police identified Thomas Warren, 69, as the man who hung himself from the James Street Parking Garage . According to Lt. John White, Warren left a suicide note and also left a check for a funeral home in Tarrytown to pay for his funeral. White said they are waiting to hear back from the funeral home to see if Warren spoke to them before his suicide. White said attempts to reach next of kin have been unsuccessful.
