Cleanup crews are at 120 Upland Road in Yorktown on Monday afternoon, including the Department of Environmental Conservation, according to Noreen Parrell, the backyard neighbor. According to the Lakeland Central School District, the evacuation was part of a police investigation. There is no direct threat to safety of the students or the building, the district said.
