Buchanan Police Seize Marijuana CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- The Buchanan Police Department has seized more than five pounds of marijuana, Police Chief Brian Tubbs announced. According to Tubbs, the marijuana was destined for a Buchanan group home. On Feb. 22, Sgt. The city last re-evaluated its property in 1958 and properties are still being assessed at that 1958 value, which is what residents pay property taxes on.
