Bedford Police Respond To Barricade Situation BEDFORD, N.Y.-- A person who barricaded himself in a room on McClain Street on Friday is now in the custody of the Bedford Police and is being transported to Northern Westchester Hospital, police said.  Police originally responded to the call at 8:57 a.m. Another person in the residence called police and said they were concerned about a person living there. The person subsequently barricaded himself in the room. "Our main concern is that individual's safety and the safety of the officer and everyone in the area," said Lt.
