Wilton Democratic Town Committee Welcomes All To Fall Barbecue
WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Democratic Town Committee invites residents to its 2016 Fall Barbecue on Saturday, Sept. 10, from noon to 3 p.m. at Merwin Meadows, 52 Lovers Lane, in Wilton.
Although the line-up of speakers is not yet set, past attendees have included U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, Representative Jim Himes, Gov. Dan Malloy, Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, State Attorney General George Jepsen, Secretary of State Denise Merrill and others.

Greenwich Lecture Focuses On Plight Of India's Elephants
GREENWICH, Conn. -- Kartick Satyanarayan and Geeta Seshamani, co-founders of Wildlife SOS, India’s animal welfare organization, return to Greenwich this fall to present a second annual lecture on the plight of the Indian elephant and the work of Wildlife SOS. The event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 25, at Greenwich Country Day School, Lower School, 401 Old Church Road. in Greenwich from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
