Demolition Under Way On Tappan Zee Bridge Toll Plaza TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Work has begun in Tarrytown to demolish the toll plaza near the Tappan Zee Bridge as part of the new bridge project according to News 12 Westchester. The tolls were deactivated last month and replaced by new cashless tolls on the Rockland County side.
