CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- Spring will bring explorations of family life at The Schoolhouse Theater in three very different productions.On Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. it will present “Multi-Racial Family Man,” a one-man show, written and performed by Alex Barnett as a 48-year-old Jewish man married to a 46-year-old black woman who has converted to Judaism.

Auditions Scheduled For Hoff-Barthelson Music School’s Festival Orchestra
SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Auditions for the 2016-17 season of Hoff-Barthelson Music School’s Festival Orchestra will be held in May.The audition will be at the school, 25 School Lane. in Scarsdale, on Tuesday, May 3, from 5:15-to 10 p.m.; Wednesday, May 4, from 7:30 to 10 p.m.; and Wednesday, May 18, from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
The Festival Orchestra is a full symphony orchestra reserved for high school students at the highest level of technical ability and musical artistry.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Instead of attending their usual cooking, baking and pastry, management, science, and liberal arts courses on Monday, April 11, students at The Culinary Institute of America experienced a one-of-a-kind day devoted to famed New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer.
