Stephen Christos, 88, Of White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Stephen Christos, 88, died on Saturday, April 23, in White Plains.He was born Aug. 18, 1927, to Stylianos (Steve) and Helen Christos in Nyack.
On Aug. 22, 1964, he married Diane Russo in White Plains. Christos was an instrumental music teacher in the Chappaqua and Briarcliff school districts for many years. He was a skilled musician and played in many bands and orchestras.
Survivors include his wife; his two sons, David Christos of Silver Spring, Md. and Paul Christos of Fresh Meadows, N.Y.; and two grandchildren Sarah and Vanessa

Eugene A. Wells, 92, Of Port Chester
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Eugene A. Wells, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died Saturday, April 23. He was 93.He was born July 26, 1923, to Rose and James V. Wells.
He served in World War II from 1943-45 in North Africa, Italy and France, and received the Purple Heart among other awards.
He is survived by his sister, Aileen Tomlinson, a son, James E. Wells and wife, Patty, a daughter Patricia J. Mertz and husband, Paul and grandchildren, Donald and David Wells, Jennifer Kemka, Paul and Mathew Mertz, and four great-grandchildren.
