White Plains Celebrates Earth Week WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Advocates for the Earth and the Science Research Club at White Plains High School will lead the celebration of Earth Week through Thursday.On Thursday, April 21, there will be planting and a celebration of environmentalism in the senior courtyard, with music and presentations. It will take place from 11:40 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.  Members of the groups volunteered in Westchester parks yesterday and will also take part in the Soles 4 Souls collection at Ebersole Field on the weekend of April 23.
