Stamford's Cove Island Park Hosts Annual March For Babies
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Hundreds of families and business leaders will join together at March for Babies on Saturday, April 23 at a new location at Cove Island Park in Stamford, March for Babies is the March of Dimes walk honoring babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. Funds raised help support prenatal wellness programs, research grants, neonatal intensive care unit family support programs and advocacy efforts for stronger, healthier babies.

William J. Walsh, 67, Of Cold Spring
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- William J. Walsh, a longtime resident of Glenham and current Cold Spring resident, died Monday, April 11, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 67. Walsh was born in Beacon on Aug. 29, 1948, to Joseph V. Walsh, Sr. and Anne A. Grady Walsh.
He married Gliceria Bagtas Baldres-Walsh.
Walsh retired from Metro-North Railroad. He was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. He was also a board member of Brookside Senior Citizens Community Park in Cold Spring.
