Turn A Book Into A Work Of Art At Workshop At Newtown Library NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Give a discarded book a new life by transforming it into personal artwork on Tuesday, April 19, from 4  to 5:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the C.H. Booth Library in Newtown. Katie Stevenson will show techniques to change a book into your own creation. Bring small treasures, photos, scraps of paper or fabric, buttons, etc., to incorporate. All basic materials will be provided, and there will be a $5 materials fee.  Attendees can bring their own book or use one that is provided. The C.H.
