Paul Morin Duo To Appear At Westport Library
WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Paul Morin Duet will perform both a classical repertoire and new music at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. The free program will contain original works and a world premiere by Paul Morin, as well as compositions by Beethoven, Paradis, Tomassini and Thais. Morin is a New York-based composer, contemporary artist and pianist. As a composer, his recent projects include a live radio show of Dracula, Rip van Winkle, Lies people Tell and Static in Movements. Three Blues Legends Perform In Concert At Rye Arts Center
RYE, N.Y. -- Three legendary blues musicians, Phil Wiggins, George Kilby, Jr. and Sherman Holmes, will perform at The Rye Arts Center’s newly renovated Performing Arts Room, on Friday, April 16, at 7 p.m.Tickets are $30 for the general public and $20 for Arts Center members.
Wiggins, of Washington D.C., played with numerous musicians who play traditional acoustic blues.
