Harlem Wizards Take On New Rochelle School District Team In Fundraiser NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Harlem Wizards are coming to New Rochelle on Wednesday, April 13, with the New Rochelle High School Habitat for Humanity Club and Habitat for Humanity of Westchester. This week, two Harlem Wizards players, "Big Mike" and "Silkie," joined students at local elementary schools to share a few basketball tricks and invite the children and their parents to watch them play against their teachers on the Hammering Habitaters of the New Rochelle school district. Three trombone players, seniors Samuel Brown and Charles Simmons, and sophomore Lauren Pellegrini were recently selected to participate in the Westchester All-County Jazz Ensemble. Perillo: Industrial Land Bill Would Spur Shelton Downtown Redevelopment SHELTON, Conn. – State Rep. Jason Perillo (R-113, Shelton) voted Tuesday in support of legislation that requires the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development to find tax incentives for businesses to undertake the development of vacant commercial and industrial properties, a measure he said could help Shelton.
