Baseball Tourney YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers native Patrick Wareham was among the stars who recently led Loyola School to a 5-0 record in the St. Petersburg, Fla., baseball spring training tournament. In the tournament, Wareham, a senior and team captain, had five hits, three RBIs, scored six runs and stole seven bases.  Loyola School was one of a group of schools from the United States and Canada that visited Florida two weeks ago to compete in a nonelimination tournament organized by Tampa Bay Spring Training. Harrison High School Debate Team Qualifies For Nationals HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Harrison High School debate team has captured the top three spots in two district championships – qualifying the team for the national championships. Senior Elyssa Alfieri was the NCFL district champion and the tournament’s top speaker, earning a perfect 6-0 ballot count in her first three rounds. Alfieri was a quarterfinalist at NCFL Nationals last year.
