Swim 70ers From Westport, Weston Compete In National Short Course Meet WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Age Group swimmers competing for Swim 70 ended the Short Course season with a bang when they recently competed in NCSA Age Group Championships in Orlando.  The Swim 70 swimmers went down to Florida a week after winning the Connecticut Age Group Championships, including five 13-14 girl's relays breaking state records and over 100 top 10 finishes. “The NCSA Age Group Championship is a national meet that swimmers need to qualify for,” said Head Coach Mark Sedlak. “Our swimmers had to dig deep to compete at this level one week after our successful state champions…

Terrie Wood (R-141) joined her colleagues in a bipartisan effort to repair the current fiscal year deficit of $220 million this week. S.B. 474 – An Act Making Adjustments to the State Budget for the Biennium Ending June 30, 2017 – passed with a vote of 127-16.
