New Canaan Country School Middle School Students Stage 'Into The Books'
NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan Country School Middle School drama students became their favorite childhood storybook characters — Harold, Wild Thing, Petey Bunny, the Cap Peddler — for their Winter Musical production. Inspired loosely by the musical “Into the Woods,” the original production was conceived, written and performed entirely by students. For 10 weeks, 18 fifth- and sixth- graders worked feverishly to write and stage the play. Greenwich Teen Gets Three Podiums At Vermont Ski Championships
GREENWICH, Conn. -- Olivia Holm, 14, of Old Greenwich was recently named Vermont's Under 16 Giant Slalom Champion at the U16 Vermont State Alpine Championships. The five-day series was held at Okemo Mountain Resort, Killington Mountain Resort and Sugarbush Resort. Out of a field of 118, Holm won the Giant Slalom race held at Okemo Mountain Resort on Feb. 21. Holm took seventh place in the slalom event held on Feb. 27 and she was third place for both the giant slalom and super-G races held on Feb. 28 at Sugarbush.
