Westchester County Willing to Invest $58 Million in Rye Playland Upgrades RYE, N.Y. -- Rye Playland may receive $58 million of taxpayer money as part of a deal Westchester County is making with the company set to take over managing it.The money would be use to fund 11 construction projects, according to Rye Patch. The Journal News said the county hopes to complete the agreement with Standard Amusements by March 31.  Last year, Standard Amusements was selected and OK'd by t a unanimous vote of the county Board of Legislators to manage and revitalize the aging amusement park in Rye.
