Black History Month Discussion Planned For Bridgeport Library
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Library's Black Rock Branch will host A Celebration of Black of Black History Month with several special guest speakers, including State Sen. Marilyn Moore, retired Bridgeport Police Lt. David Daniels, producer Cheri L. NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Waveny LifeCare Network’s Adult Day Program in New Canaan recently featured a special Valentine’s themed day called “Love is a Work of Heart.” Program participants began their morning by opening their heart chakras at a special yoga session, and later created confections with affection in an afternoon “Baked with Love” baking group. RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood Crew is holding a no cook fundraiser. On Thursday, Feb. 25, order dinner for a family of four from Park Wood Deli.
