Fulmar Road Elementary Students Display Art At Mahopac Library MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Kaitlin M. Duffy, the art teacher at Fulmar Road Elementary School, has installed an impressive show of artwork created by first-, second- and third-graders in the Young Arts Gallery at the Mahopac Public Library. Hanging scrolls, Greek amphoras, and Arctic landscapes are featured in this exhibit that will remain on view through March 14. 'Honest Abe' Visits Kids At Meadow Pond Elementary School LEWIBORO, N.Y. -- Second-grade students at Katonah-Lewisboro’s Meadow Pond Elementary School learned firsthand about Abraham Lincoln’s personal life leading up to his presidency during a special presentation on Feb. 4. Subzero Heroes Beats Fundraising Goal In Fight Against Alzheimer's HIGHLAND, N.Y. -- Icy temperatures and brutal winds on Saturday failed to halt the sixth annual Subzero Heroes fundraiser for the Poughkeepsie-based Alzheimer's Association of the Hudson Valley on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Berean Park in Highland.
