Concordia Softball Chosen 11th in 2016 Preseason Coach's Poll
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Concordia Clippers softball team has been chosen to finish in 11th place, according to the recently released 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Softball Preseason Coach's Poll. The voting was conducted by the conference's 14 head coaches. Caldwell, who captured both the 2015 conference regular season and tournament titles, earned 193 points, including 13 first-place votes to claim the top spot. Eastchester Parks and Recreation Announce Mini Camps
EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Mini camps over school break are planned by Eastchester Parks and Recreation in February and March.The mini camps are eligible for students grades kindergarten through sixth grade and take place from Feb. 16 to 19 and March 21 to 25. Scheduled activities run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extended day options running until 5 p.m. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, games, pizza parties and guest entertainers. EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Greenvale School students in the class of teacher Eileen Finn were able to video-chat with noted children’s author Tomie dePaola in January. The children were able to connect with the author from their desks in Greenvale to his studio barn in New Hampshire and ask the famous author/illustrator questions about his writing and characters.
