Search Intensifies For Suspect Who Beat, Shot Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Police in Poughkeepsie continue to search for the suspect behind the beating and shooting of a resident early Tuesday morning, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. Police responded to a call for a person shot on Innis Avenue at 2:27 a.m. and found the 43-year-old had been shot three times and beaten, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. MILLBROOK, N.Y. -- Dutchess Day School held a 60th anniversary gala recently at the sheep barn on the Thorndale estate in Millbrook, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Westchester County breached its obligations under an affordable housing settlement by not opposing a 28-unit development in Chappaqua, a federal judge ruled Tuesday, according to lohud.com. CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Connecticut man who spent eight years in prison for setting a fire in a Carmel restaurant has been exonerated after Putnam prosecutors agreed there wasn't enough proof of wrongdoing, according to lohud.com.
