Swingles Perform At Pelham Memorial High School
PELHAM, N.Y. -- The London-based acapella group “The Swingles,” ran a workshop for Maria Abeshouse’s six to 12 grade chorus students and then treated them to a private concert. Owners Seek Dog Missing In Mohegan Lake Area
MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- A dog named Kelly is missing in the vicinity of 3059 Lexington Ave. in Mohegan Lake. Man Charged In Attempted Murder Of A Police Officer In Ellenville
ELLENVILLE, N.Y. -- A Cragsmoor man has been charged with attempted murder of a police officer in Ellenville, according to Time Warner Cable News. State Police responded to a 911 call about a man trying to enter a home in Ellenville on Tuesday. When they arrived 32-year-old Cory Larson started shooting at the police before he stepped out of the home and was arrested. No injuries were reported, according to Time Warner Cable News. Briarcliff Celebrates Thursday Night Live
BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- The Chili Cook-Off and Thursday Night Lights event came to Briarcliff this past Thursday. People filled the streets trying chili from local businesses, kids got their faces painted and businesses offered specials. Mike Risko Music brought musical groups including the Rock Star Mini Class who sang for the crowds. Kids got to make hand made cards with Linda Sugrue from "It's from Me" while parents tried chili from Chatterbox, AV Hair Design and much more. The event was sponsored by the Briarcliff Manor Chamber of Commerce.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- FIrst-grader Lia DeBorba-Silva served as superintendent for a day on May 24, touring district classrooms with Elmsford UFSD Superintendent Joseph Ricca, greeting students and teachers in the hallways and selecting pizza as the menu item for the last day of school at the Carl L. Dixson Primary School. Newburgh City Comptroller Resigns Following Arrest
NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Newburgh City Comptroller John Aber resigned Tuesday. May 24, following his arrest on theft charges, according to News 12 Hudson Valley. He stands accused of pocketing money that was supposed to be collected on behalf of the city. Aber has been arrested and faces charges of grand larceny. Mayor Judy Kennedy wouldn't say how much money was allegedly stolen, but did say that it's believed Aber was skimming off the top from cash fees taken in, according to News 12.
