Person Trapped After Vehicle Rolls Over In Yorktown Heights A person had to be rescued after they were trapped inside a rolled-over vehicle in Northern Westchester. On Sunday, Nov. 27 around 12:20 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of an overturned vehicle in Yorktown Heights on Crow Hill Road in the area of Colonial Hill Road, according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department. Former Police Officer, Army Veteran From Hudson Valley Dies A beloved husband and father from the Hudson Valley who was both a US Army veteran and a former police officer in Westchester County has died. Putnam County resident Richard Kennedy of Carmel died on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the age of 72, according to his obituary. Born in 1949 in New York City, Kennedy served in the US Army from 1968 to 1970 and then served as a police officer in Port Chester until he retired in 1977, his obituary said. Multiple Departments Respond To Report Of Smoke At Hudson Valley Strip Mall A report of a possible blaze at a Hudson Valley strip mall sent numerous police and fire departments to make sure the building was safe. Age-Progressed Images Released Of Mom, 2 Kids Who Went Missing In Northern Westchester Police have released updated age-progressed images depicting a mother and her two children who went missing from their Northern Westchester home more than 45 years ago.
