Passaic County Family Whose Home Destroyed By Fire Sees Community Support The Fuquene family has been reeling since their West Clifton home was destroyed after being struck by lightning and catching on fire.  While the family of seven made it out safely, they lost their home and personal belongings and are currently staying in a hotel, which has put a financial strain on the family. A fundraiser has been set up to support the family. As of Friday, July 21, almost $4,000 has been raised. Body Found Near Holland Tunnel A dead woman was found about a mile from the Holland Tunnel on the evening of Wednesday, July 19, authorities said. At 6:52 p.m., Jersey City police saw the body at 18th Street and Jersey Avenue, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. The woman was determined to be dead at the scene and the medical examiner's office responded, Wallace-Scalfione said. The death does not appear to be suspicious, Wallace-Scalfione said.
