The wallaby, who has captured the community's attention since he went missing from his North Salem home three years ago, was spotted in Heritage Hills in Somers Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. by Linda Pisogna, a Heritage Hills resident. Thanks to a $215,000 grant, Ossining is teaming up with the Walkabout Education Foundation to design a new high school course that will incorporate project-based learning, wilderness expeditions, internships, and service learning projects. Solanus Casey was beatified by Pope Francis on Thursday, with the church attributing a miracle to him. Beatification is the next step on the road to becoming a saint. Casey, who died in 1957 at age 86, would be the first American-born male Catholic saint. Casey's first assignment was at Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers.
