AG Investigating: Report Did Nadine Arslanian, the wife of indicted Senator Bob Menendez, get special treatment by police after she fatally struck a pedestrian in Bogota in December 2018? The state's top prosecutor is apparently looking to find out. According to NBC New York, investigators from the New Jersey Attorney General's Office of Public Integrity & Accountability were at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Thursday, Oct. 5, seeking documents related to the incident. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the legendary actor, bodybuilder and former Governor of California, is appearing at Bookends in Ridgewood on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 5 p.m. to sign copies of his new book "Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life." Bayonne Bike Burglar Hit With Additional Theft Charges: Police James Bostic, a 42-year-old Bayonne resident who was previously arrested for stealing a $950 e-bike was hit with two additional charges for theft, police said. A person reported losing their wallet last year and after viewing surveillance cameras, observed Bostic picking up the wallet and leaving the area, Bayonne police said. Reckless Manslaughter Among New Charges For Driver In Fatal Route 1&9 Wreck Additional charges have been filed against a New Jersey driver involved in a fatal wreck, authorities said. Gabriel Melo, a 22-year-old Newark resident, was behind the wheel of a car when it crashed and killed 21-year-old Daniella Rosario, of Bloomfield, last month, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced on Thursday, Oct. 5. Newark Men Sold Guns To Undercover Informants: Feds Two men from Newark were federally charged with dealing unlicensed firearms, trafficking them across state lines, federal prosecutors announced on Tuesday, Oct. 3. From July to September of this year, Carlo De Jesus, a 26-year-old Newark resident sold four firearms, including two rifles and a semi-automatic handgun to undercover law enforcement, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said.
